Her experiential background includes teaching in grades 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10 and four-year old preschool as well as having been an itinerate professor at Coker College in the Department of Education. Her nine years of former principalships were in private schools in both South Carolina and Florida. Those included K-6, K-12, and Montessori environments.

Mrs. Strozier received academic honors at both Coker College and Winthrop University where she earned her bachelor's in Elementary Education and master's in Education Administration, respectively.

Community service has included work with community theatrical groups in Marlboro, Hampton, and Orangeburg Counties; Rotary projects in Darlington and Hampton Chapters in S.C. and Pinellas County in Florida; and singing for various community and church events.

Currently Mrs. Strozier serves on the Orangeburg Foundation Board which raises funds to support teacher grants for innovative classroom projects, and works with the Community of Character of Orangeburg County.

A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she has lived across the country in ten states growing up, has two grown children, Christine and Frank, and resides in Orangeburg, SC with her dog, Montague, and her husband, Roy.

On May 9, 2007, Miss Isabelle Amelia Exum, who she fondly refers to as "Izzy" arrived to the proud parents of Mr. & Mrs. Frank Emanuel Exum, III, making Mrs. Strozier a grandmother.
