Mrs. Fanning also spearheaded the "Going Green" initiative at Dover Elementary which won the recognition and support of the employees of, now business partner, Jones New York, from the state of New York. Mrs. Fanning was also named Recyclying Teacher of the Year in South Carolina. Dover was recognized in 2009-2010 as Orangeburg Consolidated School District 5's "Green School." Mrs. Fanning is a native of the North, SC area.
